 Originating from Central Asia, onion has been sought after for its
numerous qualities throughout history. While its taste qualities make it a
crucial ingredient in cooking the world over, it is also appreciated for its
nutritional properties (vitamins B and C, calcium and potassium).
Alinéa Top Alliance sells 2,000 tons each year, including approximately 1,200 tons of onions of French origin, 600 tons from New Zealand and 200 tons from Italy and Holland.
